Tusmørke are a psychedelic folk rock band from Oslo. Initially started out as an acoustic trio, they have since grown into a quartet with keyboard players. In the booklet to her new work there is a poetic intro to the music. The Black Swift, a rare American bird species, is an illusion to read about the miracles in nature and the dissolution of time. The music of the Norwegians is just as archaic and wondrous against the conventions of modern pop. The flute is immediately operated with as in the best times of Jethro Tull. The singing is rather medieval. Trumpets increase the hymn factor. "Gamle Aker Kirke" reminds with recorder, tender singing and an excess of lyrical feeling of blessed ougenweide times. In the psychedelic "Black Swift", in which it sings like a saw, all kinds of analog keyboard instruments like Mini-Moog, Mellotron and Chamberlin are allowed to play. "All Is Lost" is more rustic and rocky knitted. The title track is a fifteen-minute retro-prog medieval buzz with exuberant archaic songs.
