Already the comeback album "Blood Of The Nations" was a fat statement in 2010. Since then Accept can keep this level loose. Already "Stalingrad" (2012) proved: This is a reunion with substance, and also "Blind Rage" (once again produced by Andy Sneap bombastically) is hardly worse than the two excellent predecessors. The eleven without exception strong numbers are already one of the metal highlights of 2014. Wolf Hoffmann's typical combination of noble riffing and classical sing-along solos is still the most important unique selling point of Accept. And with ex-TT-Quick-Shouter Mark Tornillo you have again a real ramp sow at the microphone this year. The 60-year-old singer from New Jersey has not only the typical Dirk-Schneider-Reibeisen vocals on it, but also sets great melodic accents again and again. "Blind Rage", whose strengths clearly lie in the groovy midtempo range, is an album without major weaknesses, but with all the more hits. You only hear the hymns "Dark Side Of My Heart", "Fall Of The Empire", "Dying Breed" or "From The Ashes We Rise".
