On their fourth album Jessica Larrabee and Andy LaPlant alias She Keeps Bees once again operate with the charming stylistic device of reduction. With guitar, sometimes restrained, sometimes noisy demanding, in their minimalism hardly to be undercut drums and Larrabbess vocals the duo creates impressive songs, which impress with their minimalism unbelievably. The singer's voice, which occasionally reminds us of Patti Smith, is definitely the trademark of the New York project.
