The tribute to the legacy of the legendary Swabian rocker Wolle Kriwanek was a success with the double live CD "Danke, mir geht's gut...". Singers Gitze and Paul Vincent decided to continue working together and recorded this studio album. There are fifteen old titles, all once written by Vincent Gunia and Kriwanek. With drummer Andreas Keller and bassist Günther Gebauer they got real cracks. Old master Uli Eisner mixed and mastered. So there's now a "Pied Piper Revisited" (originally from the wool Kriwanek album "Let's Fetz" from 1981). "Only you" comes rhythm'n'bluesig, almost as if staged by Westernhagen. The Rolling Stones tribute "Jagger & Jones" is a small nostalgic Rock'n'Roll manifesto. "Cheer up, Fritz," step on it. Tracks like "Ich hab den Blues" and "Stuttgart" indulge the Gary-Moore-Blues. The outsider ballad "Steppenwolf" comes with a fine symphonic arrangement beatlesk. Even non-Swabians can access this disc, the texts can be easily understood. Curious: the organic food advertising in the booklet.
