Already the album title promises great nonsense. And so it is. Here, a gang of passionate, absolutely unscrupulous plunderers makes their way through the primal roots of rock history from the early sixties to the mid seventies. Never before has a band dared to declare Purple's "Smoke On The Water" their own creation. Thee American Revolution do. You poach to your heart's content and let us participate in this hussar prank. From the Beatles to the Ramones, no one remains unscathed. All this is overloaded with tons of solid reefs, deafening feedback and distorted vocals. The songs have a bit too much of everything, and yet it doesn't bother at all in this case. Sometimes it seems they're trying to figure out how far they can go. The sound quality is reminiscent of bootlegs, but this is only in keeping with the intentions of this recording. With its 35 minutes, this album is a real smashing pleasure. If the term "Dadaism" ever made sense in rock music, it was in this crazy plagiarism and quotation collage.
