The blues came to the USA through immigrants. In addition to the formative influence of African slave workers, Europeans were also involved. The Swiss are actually rather unsuspicious. But also Fabian Anderhub's poor farmer family emigrated from Switzerland to Canada and now he is searching for clues. The result is a real Bluesalbum that is as dexterous as it is mood-raising. The cool title song could come from many other genre greats like B. B. King, Robert Cray or Gary Moore. The drums are bouncing, the Hammond is roaring, the guitar is groovy and an electric piano offers solo playing. In the finger snapping "Midnight Train" also Canada's "Darling of Blues", Layla Zoe, rides along and roars with Anderhub in duet. Casual pieces like "Trying To Find My Baby" with its "Boo-Hoo" could well be covered by Steve Miller. The famous stylistically confident band does the rest to make the hearts of blues fans beat faster. And also Anderhub's guitar solos like the harmonica-driven Slow Blues "Right Place Wrong Time" or the brilliant Walking Blues "Love Me Darlin" are convincing. Bull's-eye.
