The surprising death of Gary Moore a year ago shocked many. The fans had hoped that their ex-Thin Lizzy hero would return to rock after many years of blues. Well, he did. Not only was he busy with new rock songs shortly before his death, this last filmed appearance on 6 July 2010 also shows Moore back in his eighties high speed rock. The "Over The Hills And Faraway", enriched with Irish motifs, immediately made the direction of impact clear. He combined the guitar intro "So Far Away" with the melancholic "Empty Rooms", which despite all the passion was more reserved, more tasteful than the original. Nobody dared to hope that Moore would knock "Out In The Fields" again live. With "Days Of Heroes", "Where Are You Now?" and "Oh Wild One" there were even three new songs, which went crazy without any compromises, intended for the unfinished rock album. The blues number "Walking By Myself" and the divine instrumental "Parisienne Walkways" (in an eleven-minute version) formed the gripping finale.
