With a 16-page booklet, which does not disregard any wishes, this class remastered CD appears, on which two albums of the great Jimmy Reed are summarized. I'm Jimmy Reed (1958) includes the classic "Honest, I Do", the original "Roll And Rhumba" and "You Don't Have To Go". The work still sounds a bit reserved compared to Rockin' With Reed (1959), but is nevertheless a milestone of the genre. On the 59th record Reed celebrated sparing arrangements, which he refined with his vocals, which despite all their nonchalance are pleasing with a slightly provocative undertone. A special highlight are six bonus hits, including of course "Big Boss Man" and "Hush Hush".
