Guitarist and vocalist John Primer and harmonica man Bob Corritore have played with such top-class musicians as Junior Wells, Magic Slim, Muddy Waters and James Cotton throughout their long career. On their common album they celebrate rough and unembellished Chicago Blues, which is especially effective by the old-fashioned recording, where it rumbles and cracks beautifully. Midtempo blues with wonderful harp solos ("Cairo Blues", "Harmonica Joyride"), a slow number with expressive vocals ("Little Boy Blue") and a racy blues dance floor sweep ("Just Like I Treat You") stand for the experience and passion of both of them, who don't serve any contemporary trends, but do their thing.
