The Erlangen Folk Punkers are back. On their thirteenth studio album they present their well-known punk Speedfolk, clearly inspired by the mighty role models of the "big island", the Levellers and of course the Pogues, again with a lot of beer fun and gaming energy. The colourful hustle and bustle begins with "A Night In Dublin", an accordion-driven Irish folk punk. A Bottle A Day, you can imagine what kind of brown gold is being drunk. The waltz "No Lullaby" shifts down a few gears, and you can rock it formidably. "We Don't Care" brings anarchic ska into play again; it is sung snottily, fiddle, squeeze chest, mandolin or banjo create the necessary acoustic color in the electrified speedfolk. "Buccaneer" tells the popular story of pirates and a treasure map. The quirky polka "Maria" stylistically follows the current Eastern European folk trend. With a real ballad ("Into The Sunset Again") Fiddler's Green conclude this journey full of fun and joie de vivre. The thirteen? Definitely not an unlucky number.
