Remaining ears, pop song lightness, dance floor rhythms and cool synthie sounds - the Berlin band Abby mixes these elements to danceable indie tracks of international format. The slightly melancholic voice of singer Filou describes states of being in love, the realization that one slowly but surely leaves one's youth behind, how one looks back on beautiful moments ("Like Kings", "This Song Remains Through All"), the search for a higher meaning ("Karma") and sings about travelling and the feeling of freedom ("Wings & Feathers"). No thousand times heard, shallow pop phrases thus, but personal experiences, observations and wise conclusions or, in other words, texts with depth, packed easily accessible. The band manages to keep the tension over twelve tracks by always varying their recipe for sophisticated electropop songs in an exciting way. And with the catchy tune suspicious "We Don't Worry" it also delivers a strong bonus track.
