The Dutch band doesn't follow in the footsteps of their fellow countrymen such as Cuby & The Blizzards or Livin' Blues, but is oriented towards the classic Chicago Blues. The album seems a little flabby on first hearing ("That Will Never Do"). But that puts itself into perspective. Bandleader Robert Fossen concentrates on the quiet sounds ("Bad Avenue", "Rosalie"), which he counteracts with some faster songs ("Gotta Love Somebody", "Can't Be Satiefied"). Passionate harp interludes, restrained jazz chords, "shuffling" Chicago Blues and the eleven-minute Slow Blues "Sinner's Prayer" also stand for the band's many years of stage experience, which has learned to entertain with little pleasure.
