Brute guitar chords, massive drums and shrill screams from second one - His Electro Blue Voice breathed the early Swans albums up and down. The spook lasts only two minutes, then the opener "Death Climb" is over. With the eight-minute "Spit Dirt" follows a gothic track full of stoic rhythms and aggressive riffs. This could easily be confused with the old The Mission albums or the works of Love Like Blood if there weren't all the spacy sounds in the background and - again - the screaming. But the track finally relaxes and convinces. On their debut "Ruthless Sperm" His Electro Blue Voice walk a fine line between Industrial, Noiserock and Gothic. Unfortunately, they fall down sometimes on the right, sometimes on the left. The Italians are annoying with their noise attacks, but with quieter moments they provide some successful passages. The smooth finale of "Born/Tired" and the wonderful rhythm guitar in "The Path" are to be mentioned here above all. And the gloomy Red Earth. But these are already the only rays of hope.
