Over the years, the song "Long Stick Goes Boom" from the 1982 "One Vice At A Time"-LP has turned into something like the unofficial crocus recognition song. He offers everything a crocus fan could wish for: "Tongue In Cheek" lyrics, an AC/DC-affine rhythm and Bon Scottmeets Brian Johnson vocals. As they shot this song into the audience as an opener at the Heimatstadt-Gig in Solothurn, Switzerland, nothing could go wrong anymore. Interestingly, they combined their trademark track with excerpts from The Whos "Pinball Wizard". The 14-track setlist was peppered with band internal classics like "Tokyo Nights", "Bedside Radio" or "Fire". But also the 2013 album "Dirty Dynamite" ("Better Than Sex", Hallelujah Rock'n'Roll", "Go Baby Go") was not ignored. The band is now made up of three guitarists similar to Iron Maiden. All three gentlemen, Mark Kohler, Fernando Von Arb and ex-Asia Mandy Meyer, were already romping around in various crocus lineups before, but just like Maiden, three guitarists are not musically necessary with Krokus.
