Mystical Eso-Pop of three ladies and one gentleman. Not a typical girl band, rather a serious attempt to sound like the Doors would have sounded if they had hired a singer after Jim Morrison's departure (which Chrissie Hynde was one of them). Psychedelic folk elements mix effectively with opulent gothic kitsch and crisp eighties pop. You really can't say that the quartet from London is afraid of contact, but you have a good feeling for catchy, but by no means dull pop pearls. The four protagonists move in dimming soundscapes of proliferating keyboard sounds and meandering grooves. The voices are especially captivating in the downtempo tracks. The British call this music Wonky Pop. However, this genre designation can be safely forgotten again. Because what remains are 40 minutes of excellent good mood with a few depressive strings.
