THIS LOVE IS DEADLY - This Love Is Deadly

This band performs a balancing act between huge noises and sweet pop. From distorted Powerrock à la Dinosaur Jr to the comforting postrock ecstasy as appreciated by My Bloody Valentine and others, a lot is offered and carefully integrated into the band structure, where it gets its very own sound. Trademarks are the always distorted guitars, the synthesizers with Notwitschem Melancholiefaktor and the changing male- and female vocals. In such a way, a song like "Red Drop" gets so many feel-good bonuses that it almost hurts. This Love Is Deadly and This Love Is Deadly, too. "Need Your Touch" is of the caliber noise orgy with pop appeal and "Drown And Forget" Shoegaze with addiction factor. With its noisy guitar walls, "When You Come" develops into the central piece of this debut, which literally sweeps you off your feet with its indirect directness.
