After the first reunion in 1997 was not very successful, the Dutch metal icons Picture could start again three years ago with "Old Dogs New Tricks" (suitable album title!). Especially in the metal underground the band from Hilversum hasn't lost any of their fascination over the years. And albums like "Heavy Metal Ears" (1981) and "Diamond Dreamer" (1982) still have legendary status today. This year only drummer Laurens Bakker and bassist Rinus Vreugdenhil will be part of the original line-up. But with singer Pete Lovell, who also had a short engagement with the band in the middle of the eighties, you are still really well and authentically positioned. Full, straight metal power with a few hard rock vibes will lead you into battle in 2012, the voluminous sound is due to Oscar Hollemann, and the dark cover (Saxons "Crusader" sends his regards!) also suits this metal warhorse very well. Just like the re-recording of the 1983 Smasher "Eternal Dark". Successful album.
