Skid Row will play for time from now on. This means that they want to publish three mini albums or three chapters in the next twelve months. "United World Rebellion - Capter One" offers five songs, two of which are very reminiscent of the band's early years: the opener "Kings Of Demolition" and the ballad "This Is Killing Me". This is not far away from their "Youth Gone Wild" phase or the ballad sounds as if they had given a little brother to their 1989 hit "18 And Life". Since John Solinger has of course been in charge of the mic for 14 years now and no longer the current musical star Sebastian Bach, the remaining three songs are more aggressive, more pseudo-punk like. This fits better to Solinger's voice, which proves on "This Is Killing Me" that he can do justice to such a song. It remains to be hoped that the band around bassist Rachel Bolan and guitarist Dave 'Snake' Sabo will reflect on their real strength during the two following "United World Rebellion" parts.
