Is the time ripe for a comeback of the commercial Indierock of the Nineties? Unlike bands like the Pixies or Nirvana, who were actually part of the independent camp, at the beginning of the decade there were a number of formations that played guitar rock, which was promoted by the industry and sounded adapted accordingly. That doesn't mean that this kind of music, which combined the set pieces of 'credible' bands with large-format choruses and perfect production, was absolutely boring. Soul Asylum, for example, had a lot of fun on their two major albums and Toad The Wet Sprocket could also convince with their 1991 classic "Fear". The fact that "New Constellation" takes its title ad absurdum and is simply a continuation of the glorious times is granted to the band. In fact, the album sounds like a relic from another, long forgotten time, which significantly reduces the originality factor, but increases the nostalgia value. An album made for people who were musically socialized in the 90s.
