In 2010, five rockers, all singers and solo artists, came together to form a small kind of supergroup on the Blue Rose label, which houses US musicians from the alternative and roots rock sector. Previously, the troupe, which was identical except for one man, already played under the name 4 Way Street, of course in the style of CSNY. Now the nostalgic "Heartbreak Superstar" is their third longplayer. With the title track written by Ben Arnold, sung beautifully rough and rumbling wonderfully, the lively Americana round dance begins full of excellent songwriter art. Immediately such famous musicians as John Hiatt or CSNY come to mind. "Fearless" by Joseph Parsons shifts down a gear and offers Balladeskes in Jackson Brown tradition. Scott Bricklin's "Drag Me Down", similar rustic country rockers, stands out for The Band. In "Devil In My Hands" by Tom Gillam, the banjo is sometimes played together with e-piano, reminiscent of the Eagles phase in "Desperado" times. There are practically no failures, the only criticism is that all songs run in the same fairway.
