Nightwish and Within Temptation also go bad. At any rate, the Symphonic Metallers of Winter Storm, who are bored here for the second time on album length, believe this. The reduced kitschy approach of the ladies and gentlemen from the British Midlands is to be highly credited, because all too often in this genre considerably more sugar icing is used. The problem: Winter Storm are not very original songwriters despite their low tuned guitars, they trust in cheap keyboard orchestration and miss fine catchy hooks. You might think Sharon the Noble, Floor Jansen, Anette Olzon, Simone Simons or Tarja Turunen are what you want - after all they are more assertive than Hannah Fieldhouse (who looks more dangerous). Keyboarder Doomsday (scary) doesn't even want to be recognized in view of the class of "Within The Frozen Design" and consequently hides not only behind a pseudonym, but also behind the corresponding horror mask (double scary).
