The RONNIE WOOD Band - "Mr Luck - A Tribute to Jimmy Reed: Live at the Royal Albert Hall"

RONNIE WOOD and his band return to the blues with the second part of the live album trilogy "Mr Luck - A Tribute to Jimmy Reed: Live at the Royal Albert Hall".

For the 18-track album "Mr Luck", which will be released on September 3, 2021, Ronnie Wood not only received support from the Ronnie Wood Band - including Mick Taylor - but also from a number of special guests: from Bobby Womack and Mick Hucknall to Paul Weller. It's a tribute to Mississippi electric blues pioneer Jimmy Reed, who is one of Ronnie's all-time musical heroes and had a lasting influence on him.

The live recording was originally made on November 1, 2013 on an evening at the Royal Albert Hall and features tracks such as "Good Lover" and "Ghost of A Man". "Mr Luck" will be released digitally, on CD and as vinyl. The album is the second part of a trilogy of special and very personal works celebrating and honouring Wood and his band, Ronnie's musical heroes.

Commenting on "Mr Luck", Ronnie says: "Jimmy Reed was one of the most important influences on the Rolling Stones, and indeed on all bands that love American blues from that era to this day. I'm honored to have the opportunity to celebrate his life and legacy with this tribute."
