Track premiere: KRANE "Eidos"

The single "Eidos" is the latest output of the Swiss Post-Rock/Metal Quartet KRANE..

Krane is a four-piece band from Basel and was founded in 2012. Although the first album "ouroboros" was released after a good year, the band could hardly offer concerts due to various fluctuations and thus remained unknown. For two of the band founders, the following years were marked by the search for fellow musicians to keep the project alive. This long lasting search, as well as a flood in a bandroom, couldn't bring cranes to their knees and so in 2017/2018 new members were found and the second album "Pleonexia" was released under the label Czar of Crickets.

While the first album was about psychosomatics and the accompanying emotional effects, "Pleonexia" is about the recurring, same processes and patterns of war. With "Pleonexia" Krane tries to show these processes very soberly and neutrally and to set them to instrumental music far away from the glorification of war. The albums were recorded on their own and without digital sound generators
