The duo SCHLömer/AGthe had already proven their experimental orientation and their "Open Mind" approach with their debut "Werk". Far away from all market niches, the two again combine electrical and acoustic instruments, which offers high voltage arcs thanks to their contrasts. "Spannungsbogen" is the magic word of the whole album. In comparison to their debut, the two of them are now penetrating into even more "extra-worldly" dimensions. "Ghost" evokes the spirit of the ambient and mates it with industrial, whereas the spherical "Ohm", which is reminiscent of Krautrock times, works through the sparsely but effectively set melodies and the discreet but intensive guitar. "Folk" then resembles a visit to a Far Eastern drug cave, while the slightly jazzy "Flow" invites you to groove, "Ohr" ethno combined with western melodic elements and "Roots" conjures up the session vibrations of the seventies. An excellent album for listeners who like to search. Anyway, here you will find some unexpected things.
