The five-piece band from Ohio works primarily and audibly with a wide range of acoustic instruments from well-known ones like guitar and mandolin to more exotic ones like balalaika, dulcimer and turkish baglama (lute) and combines them effectively with the rest of the rock instruments. In many of the fourteen tracks the polyphonic songs with male and female voices set small highlights. The opening track ("Blood Bath") reminds musically very much of "Arcade Fire meet Bob Dylan". Multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Zac Little and his team also test completely different fields and are courageous enough to venture into several very economically and acoustically instrumented pieces. "Feed Up With Hunger" for example is based on female and male vocals (a bit weak at first, but very convincing in duet); "Only The Good Die Young" only manages with a nice bass line and vocals for a long time, until it is minimally increased by drums, keyboard and another voice.
