Not only does she have similar red, full hair to Tori Amos, but she also has a similar timbre to her US colleague: Norwegian Kari Rueslåtten. There was something there? That's right, Rueslåtten was the front woman in the metal band The 3rd And The Mortal. But that was a long time ago. In 1995 she got out there and started releasing solo albums. Until 2004, then she retired. Now she surprises with an acoustic album, whose songs she wrote on the piano. They have practically nothing in common with their things from the nineties. Piano, guitar, organ, double bass, a little bit of drums, mostly used very sparsely, it doesn't take more than that to let the voice of the Scandinavian blossom fully. Influenced by Nordic folk and also a bit of classical and world music, she delivers eleven wonderful song pearls with "Time To Tell", one more filigree and graceful than the other. In certain pitches her voice creates goose bumps. And if, as often happens, it looks like a deliberate version of Tori Amos, you can't get enough of it. Great comeback!
