The ten-part concert series, started two years ago, has now arrived in Graz, Austria after the releases "Paris 1975", "Copenhagen 1972" and "Stockholm 1970". On the last tour of the Mk.III line-up with Blackmore, Coverdale, Hughes, Lord and Paice the 1976 released live album "Made In Europe" was recorded. Among other things the recordings of the album come from this concert. Nevertheless the gig in this length, about 80 minutes, is unreleased so far. The concert on 3 April 1975, of which only the encore ("Going Down" and "Highway Star") was cut here, shows the band in absolute top form. Blackmore, who had already prepared his jump towards Rainbow shortly before, played his famous "ass". The only weak point was Glenn Hughes, whose often soulful vocal interludes were in part over-excited or over-candidate. Although the Graz gig for "Die-hard fans" is beyond any doubt, it is of course arguable whether this CD or double LP is needed if you have "Made In Europe" in your cupboard long ago.
