SLEEPING PULSE - Under The Same Sky

With Sleeping Pulse, antimatter man Mick Moss has created a field of activity outside his actual band. Together with the Portuguese musician Luíz Fazendeiro (Painted Black), he created dark, highly emotional and melancholic songs, which in this respect are not so far away from those of his original project. Only this time Moss was only responsible for the lyrics and his new partner staged the music. With the result that "Under The Same Sky" is more rocky than the whole Antimatter-OEvre. In generously balladesk songs of the caliber "The Blind Lead The Blind" and "War" Mick Moss languishes his way into boundless grief, "Gagging Order" and "Painted Rust" come as massive triprocker and "Noose" even as semi-metal number. The whole thing is always highly dramatic and yet extremely sensitive and fragile. This fits in perfectly with the themes Moss is aiming for, which once again deal with the abysses of the human soul.
