Now they have made it - with the popular cast of Hiseman, Greenslade, Clempson, Clarke, Farlowe and Thompson. More than ten years after the last longplayer "Tomorrow's Blues" the jazz rock giants Colosseum release a new album. (Due to the Parkinson's disease of Barbara Thompson, who shifted back to the tolerable range due to new drugs, the album had been delayed for a long time). Thanks to the cooperation of different composers with different lyricists (among others Pete Brown) Colosseum present a dazzling palette of songs. After the lame introduction "Safe As Houses" Blues is on the agenda with a positive mood, which is refined by Chris Farlowe. Progressive blues rock in the style of the seventies ("The Way You Waved Goodbye"), swinging modern jazz ("City Of Love"), a ballad strongly reminiscent of the solo albums of Jack Bruce ("Nowhere To Be Found"), and jazz rock with bluesy-jazz melodies ("Anno Domini") unite to surely the best album after the reunion.
