Prog from Sweden - that usually promises quality. Keyboarder Mats Bender and his wife Anna Jobs Bender cannot keep this promise on their third album - three years after "Elements". The symphonic neo-/Retroprog of introitus is pleasing. But despite all their musicality and virtuosity, the compositions are only able to really sweep away in part. There is a lack of really brilliant ideas and also a lack of courage to set somewhat rougher accents. After all: "Slipping Away" is such a piece that gets stuck with its many facets. Broken Glass", "Who Goes There" and the 16-minute title track also have a lot to offer that Proggies might like: elegiac solos, unusual rhythms and clear, lyrical vocals. But there are also a few pens on this record and some questions remain. For example: Do you always have to carve a longtrack out of two or three song ideas just because you wrote "Prog" on your banners? And is it really necessary to introduce the recorder to rock now? The answer isn't always yes.
