Grooveyard Records are known for their preferences: Loud, solid blues rock either with a direct Hendrix reference or with Southern influences - that's a bit boring in the long run. The gifted guitarist and singer Tony Spinner is fortunately an exception in the label's offer. With his power trio, he succeeds in implementing a wide variety of ideas. Hot-blooded shuffle ("She Gave Me Back My Mojo" - you can hear that, man!), country rock with funk influences ("Josie"), southern boogie ("State Line"), differentiated blues rock ("Tommy Two Guns"), a brute blues rocker ("All Mine") and "stony" rock ("Let Me In") are passionately realized by him and his crew - without too obviously showing off with references to classics. Exemplary.
