They don't do anything, they just want to play, comes to mind when you first listen to the debut of the quintet from Chiemgau. While the Five present themselves in the booklet against a rundown industrial backdrop as if freshly hatched from the rehearsal room, the cover surrounds itself with mysterious aesthetics (moth and light, mysterious portraits of women). It starts with chords as hard as a leg, then the personal demon is sinisterly sung about. But already with track number four this is over and the hungry young men show that their strengths lie somewhere else: in the passionate rock ballad. The theme here is how a car accident destroys a man's life. Ballad number two, "Last Dance", deals with the death of a very close family member, "Broken" with the consequences of a loss through death or separation. There is a bit of pathos, of course, but also the impression of honesty and straightforwardness, which protects the whole thing from kitsch.
