Wow, just the inside velvet digibook makes a lot of difference! That has style, just like the cover, which, of course, reminds of "Dark Side". As much effort as you put into the presentation, so little information is offered about the band. From Poland come the five musicians who have not yet made a big appearance. They perform in a classical line-up and with Hania Zmuda they have a singer on board whose avant-garde style of singing reminds here and there of Astrid Swan or Kate Bush. In addition, there's a highly interesting mixture of artpop, prog, electronics and ambient, which is produced in an appealing way from the loudspeakers. Music for a head cinema that invites you to lean back. Before you know it, you close your eyelids and surrender to the images that emerge in your mind. Relaxation is the state into which one Soma White puts the other time and again. They show an astonishing musical maturity. This is a really strong debut. It will be interesting to see what else will come from Soma White.
