The pre-release of the songs "The Days Before The Fall" and "Dead Winter Waves" a few years ago should confirm to the fans that Empyrium would continue someday and somehow. Now the "Weiland" successor has finally arrived. Ulf Theodor Schwadorf and Thomas Helm took their time for a whole twelve years. From the nature mysticism of past publications only approaches remain, although the thematic orientation is still fully rooted in this profession. To discreet post- and waverock as well as Shoegaze Empyrium ponder now about the seasons and tides, thus about changes in nature. The vocals are extremely sacral. In combination with the music, this becomes a combination of controlled bleeding pathos and dead can dance esotericism. But the guitars are allowed to gain the upper hand for a short time and move towards noisy abysses ("In The Gutter Of Spring"). But the melancholic moments always remain dominant. They are and remain the basis of this project.
