Blues is a mix of different American styles. While in "Devil's Noose" he still propagates the traditional shuffle and in "Stepping Stone" brings blues rock in the style of Stevie Ray Vaughan, the excellent soul ballad "Fool" focuses on a deeply felt gospel feeling.
