After "Frozen In The Moment - Live In Atlanta" (2009) Redemption are now releasing their second live product from the ProgPower-Festival. "Live From The Pit" was created in 2012 and offers a good look at the previous redemption work with five studio albums of the Californian progmetalists. Although always well received by critics, the band around mastermind Nick van Dyk doesn't really get off the ground. In view of the musical potency, which becomes clear again especially with a headliner gig like this one, this is amazing. Redemption, Fates Warning singer Ray Adler as frontman and bassist Sean Andrews and drummer Chris Quirarte have a sensational rhythm crew, which is one of the most powerful in the progmetal field. In addition there are often prominently used keyboards, which are played live by Andy Paredes, and a quite variable, but also sometimes violently metallic guitar front with the Agent Steel guitarist Bernie Versailles and Nick van Dyk. "Live From The Pit" is both a gift for fans and an ideal work for beginners.
