Better Than Home" has become a two-part, but by no means dubious work. While in the first part Beth Hart musically ties in with the soul-influenced blues of their predecessor "Bang Bang Boom Boom" (2012) and their Bonamassa collaborations, in the course of the album more and more pop and rock musical aspects come to bear.
