The band around Mat McNerney has become a bit more poppy. While Hexvessel's previous two albums "Dawnbearer" and "No Holier Temple" were exclusively based on folkloristic-psychedellic heights, under the new label they make a slight course correction towards more "radio suitability". The Finnish 'more like a commune than a regular band' is and remains audible but clearly 60s-infected.
