It's a dark, heavy sound between psychedelic, stoner and black Sabbath-inspired 70s hard rock. A strong female voice rises above dense guitar walls, which however are never heavy, but rather floating, almost transcendental. Atmosphere is the main theme of Jess And The Ancient Ones' second album, and it is the sound of the late 60s and early 70s that is meticulously recreated here.
