The Fabulous Thunderbirds have freed themselves from the puritanical blues and now celebrate soul with clear bluesy tones, whereby especially the intensive singing pleases ("I Want To Believe"). Discreet, but not boring soul rock ("Too Much Water"), a track with a strong Southern soul influence ("Do You Know Who I Am?") and funk blues ("Got To Bring It With You", "That's The Way We Roll") stand for variety and a charm that doesn't open up instantly. At first the album seems a bit powerless. But this impression changes with the offered change, which is probably due to the age wisdom of the band.
