Visitors to the festival and television lovers may already be familiar with "hot cold" after a few guest performances. But only now the debut album of the Stuttgart band is released. It sounds as if the four musicians could hardly wait to finally immortalize their live energy on a longplayer. "Standing and falling" is full of feeling and dynamics. Once the Swabians had committed themselves to a mixture called Experimental-Post-Hardcore-Prog-Rock. You can recognize all this in the eleven tracks. But especially in the field of rhythm the sound of the band, founded in 2010, now lives on a clear pop note. However, this is combined with a confused, sometimes somewhat exhausting competition of feelings. Singer and guitarist Matthias Bloech sings, compels, screams and sobs his way through winding mood paths that sometimes seem like a cross between Blumfeld and Rap vocals, but always take surprising turns. The bottom line is that this album is not only more nested, but also more multifaceted than the opening track suggests.
