Motorjesus push the accelerator pedal also on "Electric Revelation" equally full to the stop. What are they called Motorjesus for? The Gladbach five-man singer Chis Birx and his singer have taken on the same themes with his fast-paced songs: "Trouble In Motor City", "100,000 Volt Survivor", "The Right Hand Of The Devil", "Speed Of The Beast" or "Back In The Action Car". So the boys don't burn anything here either. "Electric Revelation" is Rock'n'Roll without any frills or contemporary trends. Motorjesus aren't necessarily the hippest thing in rock, but that doesn't bother them any further, as timelessness is definitely a higher priority for them. "A black soul, black dynamite, raise the dead, when time is right..." - these are statements for eternity, which are given to the best in songs like "The Run". And then there's "Rust", with the Motorjesus slowing down the tempo a bit and delivering the ballad, which belongs on an album like this like the fuel in the tank.
