The cross sum of Slowdive, Mogwai and Editors is called Minor Victories. Their sound is clearly anchored in the 80s. They are less concerned with uniting the foundations of the three mother bands into a new cathedral of mercantile madness than with almost shamelessly admitting their allegiance to the common models that range from The Cure to My Bloody Valentine.
