"Make-Out In The GDR" is the name of a track from the current album of the US-American musician Brian Pyle, in which he leaves us unclear about the motives of the choice of title. Massive drums and superficial Shoegaze guitars push this track not only cautiously, but with an effective twist towards post'n'art rock with an ambient orientation - thoughtful, melancholic, gloomy. In general, the multi-instrumentalist moves towards clearly structured tunes on his new album "Melt Into Nothing". Each song develops into a harmonious soundscape with depth effect. "Hey Babe" with its two-dimensional guitars touches with the preliminary work of acts like My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive, "Never Gonna Die" makes with drones, hushed vocals and harsh electronic effects heavy on drama, which in the ten-minute "Fade For Miles" once again experiences an increase. "Melt Into Nothing" is so cold and icy that nothing melts. But there still remains the question of the aforementioned "Make-Out In The GDR".
