Latin Quarter has always failed to achieve great success in spite of, or precisely because of, its demanding political orientation. For their thirty year old there is now a new album of the band, which found 2012 almost in original line-up again together. Lyricist Mike Jones is once again part of the team and once again contributes his socially relevant lyrics. Also stylistically LQ remained true to their mix of folk, pop and reggae. Tracks like "Nico", "50 Grams" or "Tilt" would also make veritable hits. Chris Rea paid respect to the band by contributing a few slide parts.
