The opener "Walking Trouble" sounds like they want to show Rose Tattoo and the early AC/DC where the hammer hangs. Twenty years The Milestones are now on their way with the original line-up, and when singer Olavi Tikka unpacks his harmonica, he adds a bluesy component to their full steam Hard Rock'n'Roll. From an objective point of view, they can't save themselves with this verve over the whole album. Already with the second song "Shalalalovers" they get a bit wobbly in their knees. Fortunately a decent guitar solo break saves her and the next tracks "Drivin' Wheel" and "Oh My Soul" offer more substance again. Before the Finns' fourth album, however, sinks into absolute mediocrity, they once again move into the fast lane with "Looking Back For Yesterday", a song made for the rough voice of Tikka and a song that would also make sense in the context of the Quireboys or The Black Crowes. Atmospheric and hymnal and yet pure Rock'n'Roll. The Milestones must be enjoyed in single doses or live!
