Ólafur Arnalds recorded a song every day in October last year. For a whole week he had himself filmed in his living room. The "Living Room Songs", seven in number, turn out to be jewels of modern classical music, which, sometimes sparingly staged with piano, sometimes with cello and discreet beats, always exude a very special atmosphere. With his feeling for sweet and yet very big melodies he makes pieces like "Near Light" or "Film Credits" despite their minimalism to great cinema.
