Oliveray was created when the guys from Efterklang asked their band colleague Peter Broderick if he could make a remix of one of their songs. The multi-instrumentalist agreed and collaborated with his friend Nils Frahm. The result and the way there was so exciting and relaxing for the participants that they decided to continue this fruitful cooperation. With "Wonders" Nils Oliver Frahm and Peter Ray Broderick now release their debut album as Oliveray. It contains four instrumentals and four songs with vocals and combines elegiac pianotunes with free folk (aforementioned Efterklang cover "Harmonics"), traditional songs ("The Book She Wrote And In The Time") and ethereal soundscapes ("Hiding Hydiration"). It is absolutely fascinating to feel how, despite all the silence, an immense force and tension is inherent in the whole. Happy is who really understands to hear.
