If you want to know what Sidney's city melancholy sounds like, listen to Solkyri's poetic, fragile pieces. These are three young men who prefer to play their guitars clean rather than stage dramatic guitar outbursts. Accompanied by harmonic violins, synthesizers, piano or trumpets, they generate a positive sounding image of their city. Why should you also rebel and lose yourself in angry noise when you grow up with sun, surfing and cheerfulness? So the music on "Are You My Brother?" is suitable as a background music for a surf docu or the obligatory "Wir-fahren" together in the sunset scene: nine entertaining songs that roll, shine, shine and - convince. In addition, an atmospheric, surreal-looking artwork reminiscent of Dalí or Magritte. Sidney melancholy sounds the way the city presents itself: sun-drenched, optimistic, unique. For a change there are even highly emotional vocals on two of the nine songs. All right for a debut, boys. Summer may come.
