This is another collaboration that couldn't be more perfect. The German electronic musician Ulrich Schnauss, who now lives in London, already knew how to convince with three chilled electronic Shoegaze albums. Guitarist Park Peters with just as many of his band Engineers (in which Ulrich Schnauss can also be found for quite some time). So it's not too surprising that both of them stay as cobblers with their last, a dreamy, chilly Shoegaze pop. "Unterrated Silence is pure harmony frozen to music. The highly atmospheric electronic sounds so typical of Schnauss form the perfect symbiosis with Peters' dreamy guitarlicks. Ambient and Krautrock, brand Ashra, come together here in a wonderful and beguiling way. The two musicians simply can't help but surf on a wave of sugary melodies that put the listener in a pleasant state of suspension. Tunes like "Gift Horse's Mouth", "Ekaterina" and "Unterrated Silence" offer a perfect flight.
